From May 9-21, 2017 I went on a medical mission trip to Malawi with Villages in Partnership. Villages in Partnership is a non-profit organization created by Steve and Liz Heinzel-Nelson that is dedicated to improving the lives of people in Malawi by partnering villages with churches in the US. My church, Nassau Presbyterian Church, is one of the partners and introduced me to this wonderful organization. We spent 10 days in Malawi creating 4 clinics that served over 5000 patients in 3 days and saved many lives. To learn more about Villages in Partnership go to villagesinpartnership.org. Consider going on one of their trips. Below is my day by day diary.
